I tried playing with Digital Bug

How strong is the Digital Bug deck on MasterDuel?

Hi, I'm Yuduki and I can grab most insects by the hand.

One of the early MasterDuel decks was Digital Bug, but I had never seen it before and didn't know how to spin it, so I made a deck to try it out in Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution.

Digital Bug's basic strategy

This deck is very weak

I'll start with my thoughts. "No matter how you try, it's weak."

Centibit, Corebage, and LEDybug require you to put them in defensive mode in order to take advantage of their effects, but it's tough to put in Earthquakes and the like just for that, so you'll inevitably end up comboing with Stumbling.

Stumbling
EffectContinuous Spell
Card Text
Any monster that is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned is changed to Defense Position.

Ideally, you would line up Digital Bug Scaradiator and Digital Bug Corebage, and when your opponent plays an effect monster, Scaradiator's effect would negate the effect and put the monster in Defense Display, increasing Corebage's Exeze Material, and on the next turn The next turn, Corebage's effect returns the defensive-displayed monster to the deck.

It works well with Danger! Jackalope and Danger! Jackalope and Tsuchinoko are level 3 and can be Special Summoned to the field when discarded by the effect. Digital Bug Corebage can be Special Summoned on top of Number 20: Giga-Brilliant.

Battlewasp - Twinbow the Attacker is another good card that can be used to Special Summon Insects from your hand.

If you use the other effects of Digital Bug Websolder and Bug Emergency, it's not hard to put Digital Bug Scaradiator and Digital Bug Corebage together.

Drawbacks of this deck

Bug Signal is like Rank-Up-Magic for Digital Bug, but it However, Bug Scaradiator uses two Exeze materials to activate its effect, and you have to destroy your opponent's monster in battle and send it to the Graveyard to replenish the Exeze materials.

Digital Bug has no way to search for it, so it's not great.

It's also a shame that it can't be searched with Gokipole or Retaliating "C". It would have been nice to use Cynet Mining if it was a Cyberspace as it looks.

This deck has a lot of bad hands and poor ways to gain advantage, so if Raigeki breaks through, you'll lose.

At the end.

It is similar to Super Quantum and Raidraptor in terms of usability, but unlike them, there are almost no good cards in the monsters that go into the deck, making it difficult to use and noticeably weak.

I tried my best to devise a way to make it work, but it could barely fight the computer on even terms lol
