I want Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel to be a monthly fee

It's not too late. I want Master Duel to be a monthly fee.

One of the reasons Yuduki didn't play Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links was because he was concerned that latecomers might not have enough card assets to play it properly without paying a lot of money.

I was a player who returned to Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution, and Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links had already matured by then.

In the paper version of Yu-Gi-Oh, you can buy single cards at the card store or trade with your friends to build a satisfying deck even if you're a latecomer with little financial burden.

However, this is not the case in online games, where you have to draw from a huge number of packs or wait for limited-time event re-recordings.

Especially in MasterDuel, the rare packs do not appear until you get a rare card from a specific pack, which makes it difficult for latecomers.

I'm afraid that even if you love the Yu-Gi-Oh series, you might not want to play it.

The paper version of Yu-Gi-Oh releases a basic pack every three months, but the digital version will cost less, and the P2P version won't require much in the way of server fees. I think it's not a bad idea for Konami to have an income like everyone buying a box of basic packs?

Yuduki's idea of an ideal MasterDuel

You can play for a monthly fee of $10.

New packs are added every month, and you buy them with the free gems you get from playing solo or against other players.

The free gems you get from playing against others is more efficient than playing solo.

The free gems you earn are recorded in detail every day, and expire every month from the day you earn them.

You can also buy paid gems, which allow rich people to collect cards quickly. These do not expire for a year.

This means that old-timers can't accumulate points and have to keep playing, and newcomers can buy packs released in the past if they play around with them, and they can look forward to the monthly updates, which will keep both versus and solo play heating up.

There is an official tournament every month and the entry fee is $10.

About 1000 people will participate and about 10 will win prizes.

The winner gets a limited edition rare card that can fetch up to $10,000 at auction, and the other nine get the latest box of real-life Yu-Gi-Oh! cards in the latest box mailed to them.

All contestants in the finals will receive a limited-edition rarity in-game card.

At the end.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Arena, the Yu-Gi-Oh online game has already experienced two service shutdowns, and I think players are very wary of the way they are charged.

Konami should make it a top priority to expand the player population. Depopulation due to disparity in charges should be the most alarming issue. If many people can continue to play the game, Yu-Gi-Oh will gain another leap forward as the world's number one card game brand, and the game will become even more exciting.
