The best Legacy of Duelist Link Evolution deck 2

Hello. Today, Yuduki's Legacy of the Duelist Link Evolution surpassed 1000 hours of playtime. This was my last goal and now I can move on to MasterDuel without any worries.

In my last article I wrote about The best Legacy of the Duelist Link Evolution deck, and in this article I will write about a very good deck that could have been the best without SPYRAL.

The best Legacy of Duelist Link Evolution deck 2

Doomking Balerdroch

The Doomking Balerdroch deck has been very popular since the release of Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy of the Duelist Link Evolution.

The first move is to send Glow-Up Bloom and Necroworld Banshee to the graveyard via Uni-Zombie, Gozuki, Samurai Skull, Shiranui Solitaire, etc. to activate the effect, and then put Doomking Balerdroch and Zombie World on the field.

Take advantage of Doomking Balerdroch's very high control and revive every turn, link summon Vampire Sucker to draw cards, or Eradicator Epidemic Virus to destroy your opponent's counterattack magic cards.

Card Text
2 Zombie monsters
If you would Tribute a monster(s) for a Tribute Summon, you can Tribute a Zombie monster(s) your opponent controls, even though you do not control them. You can only use each of the following effects of "Vampire Sucker" once per turn.
●You can target 1 monster in your opponent's GY; Special Summon it to your opponent's field in Defense Position, but it becomes a Zombie monster.
●If a Zombie monster(s) is Special Summoned from either GY: Draw 1 card.

Zombie World will turn all of your opponent's monsters into Zombies, so you can play Rivalry of Warlords to prevent them from deploying whatever their deck is.

The fact that it doesn't use a lot of extra decks means that the time elapsed on your turn is very short, it is very strong without mass expansion, and it is very efficient in gaining wins in single games, which is why it was preferred by people who wanted to gain wins, such as Ms. Light, the world's top winning player in this game.

For single duels, it is the most time efficient and the strongest deck to earn a victory.

Weaknesses of Doomking Balerdroch

For example, if you get ahead and play Dimensional Fissure or Macro Cosmos, your opponent will be very unhappy.

If you are using a deck that does not use field magic, you can concentrate your attack on Zombie World and Doomking Balerdroch will not be able to come back.

In particular, Dinowrestler Pankratops is not a Zombie in your hand, so it can be Special Summoned and has a high attack power. They are a threat as they can beat a newly resurrected and defensively displayed Doomking Balerdroch to death and also destroy Zombie World.

In terms of versatility, we are not good at forced escape devices.

Target 1 monster on the field; return that target to the hand.

This deck does not support Special Summoning from your hand. You can use Vampire Sucker to Release and Advance Summon your opponent's monsters, but once Doomking Balerdroch is gone, you lose control of the battle and Vampire Sucker can be easily removed.

You can send it from your hand to the Graveyard with Uni-Zombie, but there is a time lag before it comes back to life, and during that time the deck is defenseless.

If your opponent can play Uni-Zombie, you can send it from your hand to the graveyard, but there is a time lag before it comes back to life, during which time you are defenceless.

Also, in terms of versatility, let's not forget Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring. They will destroy your search with pinpoint accuracy.

Altergeist

This deck wasn't very popular when it was first released because of the restrictions placed on Altergeist Multifaker, but it became quite popular when the last updated limit regulations relaxed the restrictions all together.

The move is to activate a trap and special summon Altergeist Multifaker to search for it, or summon Altergeist Marionetter to search for a trap.

Use Altergeist Protocol to protect your own effects and block your opponent's monster effects, and return troublesome monsters to your hand with Altergeist Silquitous. If your opponent tries to attack, Altergeist Kunquery will fly out of your hand to negate their monster effect.

When an opponent's monster declares an attack, if you control an "Altergeist" card: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, negate that attack. If this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; negate the effects of that card while it and this monster are face-up on the field.

In addition, Link Summoning Altergeist Hexstia solves the problem of low attack power, while also nullifying magic and trap cards.

With cards like Altergeist Meluseek, Altergeist Silquitous, and Altergeist Hexstia, you can get cards even if they are sent to the graveyard, which makes it good for the long game.

Weaknesses of the Altergeist

If you get First Player and deploy Magical Mid-Breaker Field or SPYRAL Resort, you're in for a very tough fight.

Magical Mid-Breaker Field
EffectField Spell
Card Text
Activate this card at the start of your Main Phase 1 or 2. During each player's Main Phase 1, monsters on the field cannot be destroyed by their opponent's card effects, also neither player can target monsters their opponent controls. You cannot activate or Set Field Spell Cards.

Infinite Impermanence, Altergeist Kunquery and Altergeist Silquitous are all target effects, and Solemn Judgment cannot be activated on the first turn.

Secondly, since the deck is unified by wizards, There Can Be Only One is very annoying; Altergeist Silquitous and Altergeist Hexstia can't do what they're supposed to do without monsters other than themselves.

In case you were wondering, Magical Mid-Breaker Field, There Can Be Only One and Macro Cosmos can be broken through with Altergeist Meluseek or Altergeist Kunquery, but they consume a Battle Phase and slow you down. In many cases, you will allow your opponent to mass deploy before you break through.

Card Text
This card can attack directly. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can target 1 card your opponent controls; send it to the GY. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can add 1 "Altergeist" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Altergeist Meluseek". You can only use this effect of "Altergeist Meluseek" once per turn.

Especially if your opponent is a deck that can easily create Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Chaos or Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax, where the target effect does not work, it is quite annoying.

Red Reboot stops the trap with a free chain from your hand. If it does, you can't play Altergeist Multifaker. It is mainly used in side decks, but advanced players know Altergeist very well and can use it in a really nasty way.

In Japan, Harpie's Feather Duster is said to be a threat to this deck because it is not banned. So it is probably very vulnerable to Lightning Storm.

At the end.

That's all I wrote about The best Legacy of Duelist Link Evolution deck 2.
