    Yuduki is too stubborn

I was playing a platinum ranked game today, and I had two very miraculous victories

Watch as Yuduki fights off a powerful new deck called LL Tri-Brigade and wins with a deck of old cards

It was exciting to have two duels like this in one day

It was important for me to stand around believing in my deck and the possibility of victory without giving up, no matter how dire the situation.

Luckless Yuduki enjoys a shitty game of Master Duel

    Headline image of this article

I'm Yuduki, and I've been unable to make a decent deck even though I've been paying for it, because I lost a lot of money when I ran the gacha because I liked the story and the nostalgia of Yu-Gi-Oh!

From a blogging point of view, it's better to fail and be funny like a comedian. I'd rather support a blog that works hard against adversity than a blog that brags about becoming platinum ranked without paying.

I'd be happy if you could keep an eye on what happens after Yuduki fails to pay the starting bills for Master Duel.

At least if I could pay for new cards, buy singles, and play like I do with the paper Yu-Gi-Oh....

It's a shame that there's no single purchase and no gacha ceiling, so if you're unlucky and don't get the UR or SR you want, you'll bomb out, and it'll be like a bad shadow game that costs more money than paper Yu-Gi-Oh!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is extremely popular!

    Headline image of this article

Master Duel is amazing: it's cross-platform with PS5, PS4, Xbox ONE, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Steam, App Store, and Google Play, and yet it has surpassed 210,000 simultaneous connections on Steam alone. It's a monstrously popular game.

In response, Konami's stock price soared. It ranked 7th in price increase on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange!

Half of my Yu-Gi-Oh! LotD friends have migrated to Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. Those who didn't migrate are still playing Yu-Gi-Oh! LotD, but their playing time has decreased significantly.

Speaking of which, one friend brought me some sad news.

  • bad news for me
  • In Thailand this game is zone blocked
  • I heard that I can't play Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel in Thailand due to gacha restrictions. I feel sorry for them.

People from overseas are very critical of gacha charges, and they don't hesitate to send complaints to Yuduki in the Steam chat. In Japan, the game is well-received by non-paying players and those with a small amount of money, but many of Yuduki's friends are core players who loved Yu-Gi-Oh LotD, and they are not happy with the charging system.

The overall reviews on Steam are also: somewhat favorable (4,868 reviews), which shows how many people hate gacha.

What I did on the first day of Master Duel

    Headline image of this article

Yesterday, Yuduki suddenly started playing Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel, and he immediately paid for it and played for 13 hours.

The game has a great graphical interface, the presentation is short and the speed of the duels is very fast, the packs are very fast to peel, there are rare cards that shine, and very recent cards are implemented. I love it.

The graphics are just too beautiful and the summoning effects are just too cool! The direct attack in the end is also very exciting! The quality of the music and audio has also improved remarkably.

    MasterDuel is about to begin!

    Headline image of this article

Will the next big information come out in V-Jump, which goes on sale in Japan on the 21st? I'm looking forward to it! And I wrote two days ago Suddenly, today, the 19th, MasterDuel was ready to download and run!

I don't know if I should look at it as pre-registration has started, or if it will be ready to play in a few more days, but I'm very excited now.

In Japan, it became the number one Twitter trend soon after it was announced. A lot of people are really looking forward to it.

    Improved Luna Light combo

Today I was playing with a Mist Valley Apex Avian and Cyber Dragon Infinity deck that uses Luna Light. The Japanese name for this deck is "TyoujyuGekkou", and it's rather popular.

Today's challenge was to see if I could fill in the holes in the deck that made it vulnerable to Chimeratech Megafleet Dragon. That's the challenge.

I tried laying out Evilswarm Nightmare, but it's too difficult to lay out, and it only turns Chimeratech Megafleet Dragon inside out, so it's not very comfortable to use.

If you equip the Dragon Buster Destruction Sword on the Union Carrier, the number of times the Mist Valley Apex Avian can be disabled is reduced.

Unfortunately, I couldn't think of a better way.

Not that it matters much, but I had some Dr. Pepper that expired two years ago, so I drank it as a talking point while playing Yu-Gi-Oh. I figured it would be okay since wine has a shelf life of three years and sugar, like jam, is an excellent way to preserve it.

If there was anything unusual about it that my tongue couldn't accept, I'd stop drinking it, but there wasn't. It was just a normal Dr. Pepper, except that it didn't seem to have oxidized or lost its flavor. The quality of the caffeine was also fine.

While playing Yu-Gi-Oh, I discovered that Dr. Pepper is safe for three years.

    About Yu-Gi-Oh LotD's Ranked Competition

    Headline image of this article

I achieved my ranking goal in Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy of Duelist Link Evolution in preparation for Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel, so I'd like to write about ranking today.

    MATE and Gacha

    Headline image of this article

It seems that the latest information that was being buzzed about coming out today was a SHOP information video.

Now, outside of the official version, a couple of live streamers have uploaded videos using the same content, but I'd like to explain it while watching the live streamer's video, which has a larger screen and is easier to see.

    Trouble with Discord

I'm looking forward to today, because it's the day when the new MasterDuel information is scheduled to be announced in Japan.

In tomorrow's article, Yuduki, a native Japanese speaker, will give you more information, so please look forward to it!

    Not that it matters, but...

I was supposed to join Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution Discord and enjoy the community activities, but I ran into trouble.

I can't get into Discord anymore.

The German master duel was really elegant 2

A new MasterDuel play video has arrived.

    Headline image of this article

I found out by translating the text that it's in German again. Yuduki's English is so poor that he can't distinguish between English and German lol

This time it's a duel between Nekroz and Qli. It's an interesting concept of fighting with old decks.

Yuduki wrote an article on Qli a while ago and came to the conclusion that it is unwieldy and should be structured to emphasize re-qliate, but I am looking forward to seeing the innovative use of Qli.

    yuduha and Mekk-Knight

Today we built a deck together, focusing on Mekk-Knight as a new deck candidate for newbie yuduha.

Yuduha is not very good at understanding the connections between card effects. It's hard to learn something like a theme deck unless you like the character. So, Yuduki tried to teach her only small combos that can be completed with a few cards.

In the Aleister deck that Yuduha always uses, put one Mekk-Knight Blue Sky, two Mekk-Knight Purple Nightfall, and any other Mekk-Knight you want, and you're done. It's easy to play and has a strong search effect.

Yuduha learned to use Trickstar and Aleister by way of learning small combos, and hopefully Mekk-Knight will be able to do the same.

    German Master Duel

It seems that a video of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel in German was uploaded to youtube yesterday. I just noticed it, so I'd like to talk about it.

Decks that can earn wins in a short time

    Headline image of this article

I'd like to write about how to speed up your win count with Crimson Nova the Dark Cubic Lord, the Cubic deck that my friend used to get 910 wins in Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution.

Duel with only three monster zones

I was watching a video on Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links today.

It's strange that Floodgate Trap Hole is so strong; in Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy of Duelist Link Evolution, almost no one uses Floodgate Trap Hole because the field is so big.

You can use Ground Collapse or Terminal World NEXT to create a similar situation, but it's still useless because it can't block the FirstPlayer's expansion.

In the past, decks that used Ground Collapse and Ojama Trio to block the opponent's field were pretty strong, but Link Summon and Knightmare Phoenix seem to have taken their place.

If you make it right, it might still be strong to a certain extent, but it's a pain to repeat uninteresting duels that don't have strong monsters and just drag out.

I've heard that Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel sometimes holds tournaments with the old restrictions, so it may be used.

With Final Countdown, the deck is quite strong, so depending on the environment, you may need to be wary of this deck.

We played with the Neo Space Connector

I don't have anything to write about before the Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel starts, so here's another diary for today.

Today I played with a deck centered around Neo Space Connector.

It's an important card from Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights, and it's not strong because Infernoble Knight - Renaud hasn't been implemented yet, but I wanted to use Jaden's monster for the first time in a while.

I got to 1159 wins with Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy of Duelist Link Evolution. The top player in Japan has 1196 wins. My goal is to surpass him.

By the way, I've never dueled with the top player in Japan. It's strange that I have never played against him, since I bought the game the month it was released and have been playing with the goal of winning three games a day.

In the early days, I thought it was cheat data when I suddenly gained a lot of wins, but when I looked on Steam, I saw that the user was not private, so it might have just been a time zone conflict, and I'll treat it as a rival since it's just right for my goal.

But it's a competitive game, and it's surreal to have a rival with a mysterious account that you've never played against and has been dormant for a long time LOL

Even the decks that don't let you do anything are following the rules.

I've been playing Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy of Duelist Link Evolution again today. Partly out of curiosity to find out more about the environment before the release of Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel, and partly as a challenge to improve my ranking, since I'm going to become the top ranked Japanese player in about 50 more wins.

Today was one of those days where I got hit by a lot of one-turn kill and field control decks. It's sometimes uncomfortable to lose to a deck that doesn't let you do anything, but I think it's good if you play by the rules, and sometimes Yuduki uses decks that specialize in that.

Let's use an analogy. In terms of sports, Japan has a national sport called Sumo. There are 82 different ways to win and lose, some of which may not be fun for the spectators or fair to the opponent, but as long as you follow the rules, this is a sport. But if you follow the rules, you will come to the conclusion that this is a sport and it is okay to use it.

I wanted to tell you that the key to not getting frustrated and quitting is to change your way of thinking and gain a lot of experience, and then you will realize that this is the way it is.

    What happened today

I played a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy of Duelist Link Evolution today. The deck is a newly made Cubic. While I was playing, a friend of mine came over and we decided to have a free duel.

Yuduki is an advanced player in this game, but he knows he's not the best. The friend I played with today is a top-tier player. I won't go into the gimmicks, but his deck always amazes me.

He is also one of the best SPYRAL players, so Yuduki showed him a SPYRAL deck that many people have used, studied, and made. He hoped that he might be able to create the best SPYRAL deck in the game.

It was the day my grandpa passed away three years ago, so we had a Buddhist memorial service at night. My grandpa was a very strong Go player, and Yuduki inherited his strong strategy game genes, so I'm enjoying playing Yu-Gi-Oh!

My grandpa was a very good person who was loved by everyone, but at the end of his life, his Alzheimer's disease had progressed, so I'm worried that he might get lost or lonely in heaven. Yuduki hopes that he will be reincarnated and have another good life with a new brain.

    PC being repaired

I can't write too much today as my broken PC is being repaired. I spent the time I was blogging identifying the cause, repairing the corrupted files, and initializing and reinstalling Windows, which took more time than I expected.

The disk usage of the process has been at 100% for a long time, and the PC is very slow and unwieldy. It's annoying that it takes so long to reinstall Windows and the symptoms don't improve after the reinstall.

    Social Volume

It's hard to find any information before the start of Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel. It seems that one is supposed to be released within this month.

The absence of a story is serious, but I want to write something. Let's take a look at the volume of social media today.

    In Japanese.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel has 33,000 followers on Twitter, with 15 followers.
Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links has 45 Twitter followers, 152,000 followers, and
Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy of the Duelists: Link Evolution has 12,000 followers out of 8 followers on Twitter.
Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links is around the 50th to 100th place in the sales ranking
In the global sales rankings, it is said to be the most popular game in Italy.

If you look at it in English
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel's official website has 8,822 followers out of 14 followers.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links has 25,000 followers out of 8 followers on Twitter.
Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG has 26 followers with 118,000 followers
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Guide Twitter has 5 followers with 6,719 followers

I'm looking forward to seeing how Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel will expand from here.

About the development strategy of this blog

Today I'd like to update you on the status of the production of this blog.

The tag cloud was removed today and the recommended tags were reorganized at the top. I think it's now easier to find what you're looking for than before.

I plan to delve into this tag until the release of Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel.

Happy New Year to you all

Happy New Year to you all!!

Yuduki's goal this year is to make 1000 friends all over the world in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel.

The opening of Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel will be a unique opportunity to explode the number of Yu-Gi-Oh friends.

What you need to do specifically is to invite people you can be friends with in-game and on Twitter, and find people who are enthusiastic about Yu-Gi-Oh and can play together.

Eventually, I hope to have enough connections to be able to host my own tournaments.

In order to achieve this ambition, I'm going to make my blog more and more exciting! Thank you for your support!
